Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default A question for all!

In reading the thread "Calling it like it is", I have noticed some that have said they would take joy in killing certain people or groups of people so here are the questions I would like to see answered:

1. Have you ever killed a person?
2. If you have killed a person did you feel pleasure in it?
3. If you have not killed a person do you think you would feel pleasure or joy in doing so?

My answers:

1. No
2. No
3. No

If someone hurt/raped my wife or molested my kids.I do think I would feel joy at dispatching them from this world. Or if it was a scum like bin Laden.

I also realize I might be totally wrong and killing them could make me feel terrible.

Not yet , day ain't over though ...
2. If you have killed a person did you feel pleasure in it?
Refer to answer #1 .
3. If you have not killed a person do you think you would feel pleasure or joy in doing so?
Joy yes , pleasure no , it would depend on the circumstances . It's not something I would do unless forced to .

My answers:

1. No
2. No
3. No
I know that it can be hard for a professed Christian to understand ,
but sometimes the gene pool really does need chlorine to protect the species as a whole from self destructing . I would gladly pull the "switch" on somebody like Bin Laden , or someone who harmed me or my family , and yes I would feel joy while doing it . Not pleasure , but definitely joy .

Kevin professed Christian or not, unless one is a psychopath there is no pleasure or joy in killing a person, there may be joy in knowing one has stopped a wrong or justice served, but I have yet to meet one person unless they were sick that has killed someone and felt joy or pleasure in doing so. It is far from easy living with ones self after killing someone justified or not, many have killed themselves or sunk into a life long depression due to it. It is something that haunts a person for the rest of thier lives.

3. I'd like to say no, but you can't predict the future, and you can't tell how a man's heart might change.

While I believe in the death penalty, and I believe that I could kill if the need presented itself, I don't think that there could be any joy in killing another person.
Even in hunting, my joy is not in the killing!
I know that there are some people, like Bin Laden, Hitler, and other criminals that deserve death, and their deaths bring a great sence of relief.
But, I would be just a little bit wary of the person that takes absolute joy in the taking of another hunman life!
