Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default an interesting tidbit ( Social Security )

As things now stand, Social Security is expected in 2018 to start paying out more in benefits than it brings in from payroll taxes. If individual accounts were established and no other reform was enacted, the system's finances would deteriorate even faster and the shortfall would begin six years earlier, in 2012, according to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, a liberal think tank whose numbers are widely respected.

(from CNN question and answers on Social Security )

Does that chang anyones opinion on GW's Plan ?

Nope,

I'm all for his plan.

But he himself is still an enigma to me with his topsy turvey spending followed by conservative thinking.

Could he be bipolar ?

Nope!!

We just have to make Bush accountable...he is the problem with Social Security. This man won on the basis of morality. I helped him do it. Never again!

Bush is for Bush,

That is why he defies any "label" so they come up with the new one ""Neocon". He's not bi-polar, I think he suffers from megalomania. Like Achilles in the Iliad or Troy for those who preferred the movie version. He wants his name to be a legacy..................

and the purple demon is still better than the gay spiderman

You do know he can't run again?

It doesn't change my mind one bit.
I will never collest SS. But I want to ensure that my sons have a chance to collect some reasonable form of it and I think Bush is on the right path.

How many times did the Wright brothers either not get off the ground or crash before they flew a few hundred feet.
The Bush plan will get adjusted, tweeted and twisted and something will get done. It is the right time to do it.

Yes I know he can't run again.

I meant that I will be more careful with my vote next time. Bush is no conservative....he is seeking to serve himself. Frankly, given a Bush-Kerry choice next time....I'll save my $2.00 gas and just stay home. I'm a little disgusted with politics right now. If those 2 sorry a$$'$, (Bush and Kerry), are the best we can come up with in America.....we have a rough road ahead. A modicum of truth might bolster my outlook a bit...anybody see any on the horizon?

The sooner SS collapses and the people see it for the ponzi scheme that it is, the sooner people will be forced to make the choice between greater freedon or brutal socialism.

Bottom line is: no one owes you a retirement plan except yourself!
