Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Cracks in the dam......

Senator Nelson(D) didn't sign on to the Dem's letter against personalizing SS.

Will anymore dare to work for change?

Congress won't fix SS until they have to count on a check from them when they retire . Take away their Golden Parachute and their ability to vote pay raises for themselves through a referendum vote and the speed with which they'll return SS to solvency will make your head spin like Linda Blair's . They act very much like the state teacher's union in Wisconsin. They are scared to death because virtually everyone in the state (except the teacher's and the governor) want a "taxpayer's bill of rights" passed. part of it would be to have each county being forced into putting property tax raises for the schools on a referendum.

The liberal idiots in Milwaukee actually said that a referendum was fascism because it would not allow the people to get what they want and that is not democratic-----??????????????????

Not sure how their mind worked on that one

My guess is that real liberals think that the unwashed masses are too stupid to make decisions for themselves and need some governing organization to do it for them. We just don't know what is good for us . . .

I just heard that congress was shamed back into paying into SS in 97. They continue to maintain the private perk? Anyone else no about this?
