Default the beginning of a bizarre Michael Jackson trial

Quote:
A grand jury indicted Jackson, 46, on four counts of child molestation, four counts of administering an intoxicating agent, one count of attempted child molestation and one count of conspiracy to commit child abduction, false imprisonment and extortion.

He has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.

Earlier this month, ABC News reported details of secret grand jury testimony that included lurid allegations from Jackson's accuser about what the cancer-stricken boy said happened between him and Jackson behind closed doors at the singer's Neverland ranch in 2003.
also

Quote:
Jackson was charged with nine counts -- seven of child molestation and two of administering an intoxicating agent for the purpose of a committing a felony. The charges involve incidents alleged to have occurred in February and March of this year, District Attorney Tom Sneddon said.

Is it believable that Jackson got a kid drunk, molested him as well as the other charges and a kid with cancer at that ?

Quote:
Additionally, Jackson's attorneys played for a CNN legal analyst an audiotape from mid-February in which the boy and mother said there had been no inappropriate contact.
Now that is interesting, isn't it ?

Quote:
The prosecution wanted the boys to testify in a separate room without showing their faces in court. Jackson's attorneys disputed the prosecution's claim that the boys needed protection from the public eye, saying they had testified in other cases and had recently been spotted shopping in Beverly Hills with the district attorney.

What other cases ?

Quote:
In addition, Melville granted the prosecution's request to submit adult material seized from Neverland. However, the prosecution cannot refer to the material as "pornography," "obscene" or "erotic." Instead, the judge ruled that the district attorney must use the terms "adult" or "sexually explicit."

He ruled against admitting any material seized outside Neverland or any materials from a 1993 case in which Jackson faced similar allegations.

Regular porn is not against the law. I don't know that kids reading porn is illegal, is it ?

Quote:

The self-proclaimed "King of Pop" resolved that case with a multimillion-dollar, out-of-court settlement, and no charges were filed.

The prosecution has said it plans to submit a sexually explicit magazine with the boys' fingerprints as well as Jackson's.

Jackson attorney Brian Oxman said evidence will show his client took the magazine away from the boys, but prosecutor Ron Zonen said that explanation fails to account for why there are fingerprints on the inside of the magazine.

And so this gets more weird everyday. A man who is absolutely one of the weirdest people on the planet who settled a similar accusation with money a few years ago is accused by a kid and mom who earlier said nothing happend and has made other court appearances it seems and accused of getting the cancer kid drunk and molesting him after sharing porn ? Mark my words this is going to be a very, very weird trial.

He's cooked.

His best bet is to load a suit case full of money and high tail it the hell out of here.

If he thinks he's gonna beat this rap he's insane. Not only do they have "proof", the prosecution smells money, and lots of it.

Giving a child porn is against the law.

If Mike was interested in loving all children why were the only ones that slept in his room 11-13 boys?

I read through page 4 and that was enough. I suspect the smoking gun survives on creating smut on people, however if even a partial of that is true Michael Jackson will see prison time.

They are the actual police reports how is that creating smut? If the stuff on there wasn't real they would have been sued by many people, including MJ.
