Speaking of the ACLU...
I contacted them once, but I guess they thought I had no case:
Here in Ohio, you can be chosen at random to prove that you have auto insurance. You have so many days to comply. If you don't have insurance, or if you do, but don't prove it, you are fined.
To me, that sounds like presumption of guilt, until you prove yourself not guilty. Due process seems to be ignored as well.
I emailed them (ACLU) about this, but never heard from them. Why? Am I way off on my feelings about this practice by the state of Ohio, or was I just not enough of a poster child for some liberal action item?
