I have never liked this cartoon and always thought it was idiotic.

I remember some years back when spoogebob was said to be a homo cartoon... and all the turd burglars in San Fran were buying up all the spoogebob toys etc.
I thought it was somewhat of an oddity until I actually heard the creators of that little celluloid toilet paper say that "we're not promoting homosexuality to children, we're merely promoting TOLERANCE AND DIVERSITY".....


"Tolerance and diversity" for what? Sponges? Looks like the homos are gettting craftier in their quest to influence the children.

This what the religious groups have a problem with.

Tolerance is a personal decision that comes from a belief that every person is a treasure. I believe that America's diversity is its strength. I also recognize that ignorance, insensitivity and bigotry can turn that diversity into a source of prejudice and discrimination.

To help keep diversity a wellspring of strength and make America a better place for all, I pledge to have respect for people whose abilities, beliefs, culture, race, sexual identity or other characteristics are different from my own.

I think that "tolerance" is one of those made up politically correct phrases that is supposed to make one feel bad or ashamed if one doesn't either agree with the beliefs of the popular culture or just go with the flow as descibed by self-appointed "think" monitors. They preach tolerance of everyone except those they deem to be intolerant. Its just one more repitive tool that outspoken minorites use to mold the thoughts of the silent majority. I personally don't have any animosity toward any individual because of who they are. I do get concerned when politically correct labels are accepted by society and used to try subtlely conform thinking and opinion

This is of course a ridiculous accusation; Everyone who has studied Biology knows that sponges reproduce asexually so they are incapable of having any sexual orientation. However, how can you expect dim-witted Christian Evangelists and television preachers, who reject the only logical expanation of how species come into existance over time, and their even more moronic followers to understand that. I think this idiot Dobson was chagrined that Jerry Falwell beat him to the punch in "outing" Teletubby Tinkiwinki and needed to demonstrate to the faithful that he could be everybit the hypocritical buffoon that Falwell is.
