Throwing Eggs??

I know there are enough educated history buffs around here that can answer a question for me.
In at least the most recent Inaugural parades of past Democratic Presidents, i.e. Kennedy, Carter and Clinton, did protesters throw eggs at the Presidents procession during parade and were there protesters lining the streets in Washington and abroad?

I don't remember hearing about any president being egged. Republican or Democrat. However, there have been a bunch that weren't gracefully accepted.

Then again if you're the only president that is not the target of ostrich eggs you'd feel ostracized.

If there were, I sure don't remember hearing anything about it, but then the media probably would have hushed it up under...ah, shall I say, "Other circumstances"?
