What are your feelings about Ted Nugent?
I watch his programs and he comes across to me as a retard on Steroids!
He gives hunting the impression,that if you aint an Idoiot then you aint an hunter.
EXAMPLE; as I release the arrow and it travels on the mystical path up the -----
A$$ I feel a revelation as being the primeval hunter.

How many of you think that this guy makes hunters look like retards?
Also, how may of you look to this sick Ba$tard as your Hero!

Ted Nugent is "out there", but he does have some good points in support of firearms and hunting. I just finished his book "God, Guns, and Rock 'n Roll". He does come across as an egomaniac and over-the-edge, which can be a bad thing (how we hunters are viewed in the public eye).
Thats why he is great. He could give two sh1ts what anyone thinks and does what he thinks is right. And he is usually on the mark in terms of hunting and firearms. Very over the top.. he is a musician, writer, entertainer, etc.
i don't care for his show but i like ted, he was on larry king live once and he told larry " i don't care if you fill up your swimming pool with goat piss and dive in from the high dive, just don't splash any on me" the question had to do with homo's or something and he was trying to make the point that he didn't care about your sex life or how you lived just don't get him in the mix or tell him about it. yea i think he is alot intense and a hell of a giutarist(sp) and he means well. but i don't care for the show. btw i met ted at an outdoor show in houston and he was a really great guy (seemed it at least) and was very interesting to talk to but i still am not sure how the rest of the general public view him. he's alright in my book, but like i said i don't care for his show
btw the man has not been in a grocery store in more than 20 years for meat

Yeah and I guess it is OK when he makes his video programs,does a hit of acid or meth, goes to a game farm and cuts a deal to advertise their place on his progran in exchange to shoot one of their pets on camera with one of his mystical makebelieve arrows and then, blabber some mystical BS about the spirit of the animal,more BS.Bs,BS and come across as believeable as pro wrestling.

Personally,I like Nugent.I don't watch his show (or any hunting shows or videos for that matter)so that's not an issue with me.Gotta agree with TXhighrack--he does more to promote hunting and the shooting sports than most other "high profile" T.V. hunters.He sits on the board of the NRA,NSSF and a few other pro-gun/hunting organizations-can't down him for that.Plus he ROCKS!!!!
"The Nuge" is AWESOME...sure he's out there sometimes, but that's what makes him so wonderful. He doesn't hurt anyone. And besides, aren't we all dorks to someone.
