Kwame Kilpatrick, mayor of Detroit, will more than likely be making big national news in the near future. Since he took office, there's been nothing but a storm of allegations and controversy in his wake. He is famous for hiring every family member and friend he can find, particularly for his posse. He's been refused security in D.C. before, accused of cheating on his wife with hords of women, fudging the budget, taking a $25,000 lease out on a Navigator for his wife, and the latest.... one of his body guards slammed a Detroit reporter into a wall after trying to approach Kilpatrick while in Washington. This town is on edge from this guy already, but people are really getting sick of him. Personaly, I really don't care what happens in Detroit with the mayor or the people, or the reputation of the city. I hate Detroit. I think it is rather funny though that a 28 year old kid is earning $170+ a year to run one of the ugliest, nastiest, dangerous cities into the ground.
