The taxpayers did NOT foot the bill for this. Large corporations and private donors did -- just like it always has been done. If you think the $40 million price tag on this one was big, consider this. Clinton's 2nd inauguration cost $42 million, which when adjusted for inflation would cost $49.5 million in today's money. Funny how no one complained then.

I thought the very exact thing until i did a little research. Come to find out, tax dollars dont fit the bill. The bill is paid by big buisness and lobbiest. Which I dont know what is worse. Paying tax dollars, or allowing lobbiest to get their special interests on top billing.
