Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that our government can track a cow born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she sleeps in the state of Washington. And they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give them all a cow.

It's quite simple really, when a calf is born or shortly thereafter, a tag is put in its ear with an ID number, some places they used to use a tattoo, the number is registered with a state or regional agricultural office. The tag is typically issued when the calf is innoculated or tested for Brucellosis and or TB. No test or you can't prove it was tested and you can't sell the animal. Simple economics. Keep your records in good shape or go out of business. Nobody wants a national ID, yet if we are to keep up with all of the illegals and others that enter the country there must be a way to simply and effectively trace them from entry to exit and what they are doing while they are here. Ear tags and tattoos are not an option for people so the next best thing is a uniform drivers license issued by a state body to everyone in the country and a temporary card (visa) which can be and is tracked for aliens entering the country. Most of this is in place but it is not utilized for various reasons (money) and may be circumvented by anyone with enough resources (money) and the desire to beat the system.

The only way in HE double hockey sticks that any goobermint will ever put a chip in my body would be if they chipped my cold rotting corpse just prior to burial . That would be the only time I'd want them to know where I am . The rest of the time they can take the money that I pay out in taxes and mind their own friggin' business ! [:@]

You'd be wrong .
I wouldn't chip my kids even if they wanted it , and I find the likelyhood of kidnapping happening to either of us extremely remote since neither of us have much for the kidnapper to take . If you're calling ma a paranoid then what does that make you "Mr. Chipemall" ?
