Default 'Fear Factor' Sued

Okay this guy obvious has no shame when it comes to law suits. My thoughts is if he didn't like it, change the channel or turn it off, its that easy.

Viewer Sues Over 'Fear Factor' Rat Episode
Jan 6, 5:13 PM EST

Associated Press

CLEVELAND -- Apparently nausea was a factor for a "Fear Factor" viewer who is suing NBC for $2.5 million, contending an episode in which contestants eat rats made him vomit.

Austin Aitken said he watches "Fear Factor" often and had no problem with past episodes in which the reality show's contestants ate things like worms and insects in pursuit of a $50,000 prize.

But the Cleveland man said showing people eating rats mixed in a blender was degrading to the contestants and the viewers.

"These networks are going too far. Period," Aitken said Thursday. "They need to check themselves, clean up their own acts. It's barbaric, some of the things they ask these individuals to do."

Aitken's handwritten lawsuit contends the rat-eating made his blood pressure rise, making him dizzy and lightheaded.

"I didn't see the doorway on route to my room," his lawsuit reads. "I ran into it causing suffering, injury and great pain."

Asked why he didn't shut off his television before the rat-eating segment, Aitken said he couldn't do it quick enough.

NBC responded with a brief statement: "We believe that the claim is completely without merit."

Aitken, 49, said he wants to send a message to NBC and other networks with the lawsuit. He said he isn't concerned with winning a cash judgment in court.

"I just put any figure. You really think I expect to get 2.5 million?" he said.

Court records show Aitken, who works as a paralegal, filed two lawsuits against tobacco companies in the late 1990s. Both were dismissed.

I almost hope he wins so that we can maybe get rid of some of this low budget JUNK that seems to have taken over the airwaves lately

This man fell down& got injured both bodly& mentaly by a tv program?

They dont allow to many blood sucking, shyster lawyer tv commericals here(Wy) it seems.Im glad.
His problem is maybe he lives in a crap hole city in ohio, much like buffalo,ny my birthplace.

He can only see rodents as garbage loving desease spreading vermen & would never eat a possim or squerrel or praire dog with dumplings im sure.
If a rat or other rodent lives in a good naborhood id eat im.

Hairless of course , or nonpuried, minced in a blender whole- i do like my things cooked& guted ussally.

But working in a few slaugher houses(1 chicken plant), seeing also a few hotdog, sausage/ meat plants - id rather get my own rodents& meat myself when possible.

Will peta sue fear factor too for mistreatment of various insects&rats etc?
They kill they kill them[] just for a game/show[X(] just like those clay pidgons those inhumans shoot and kill[X(]

I read the same thing today.

What the H*ll do these people think they're going to be doing?

You obviously sign a waiver prior to getting on. Plus I saw some "special" where they interviewed the "chef" that prepares all this disgusting garbage.

he says that it's all "real food" somewhere in the world, it's clean and it's cooked. He says that the only difference between how they cook it and how it might be cooked elsewhere is that in other countries it might be cooked over a fire whereas they prefer to boil everything to "maintain it's realistic look" ......[:'(]

A joke yes? But you dare make fun of the works& deeds of god?[]
Not that i personaly think its a act of god , not for one second do i believe that myself.
But some ppl do.
So god is the being you might want to sue& acording to some he lives on another planet with Mrs god - so i dont know -it could be a hard case to get to court- let alone win.
( i dont think you can go after the inventor of tv or the companys that make them or the workers that work there ither-but who knows with these kind of lawsuits who knows - anythings possible - when handing out money rewards& the lawyers greed for stupidlawsuits- anythings possible as past cases have showen.

Serving as a host for the parasitic lawyers could make you ill too[&o] & then ud need other lawyers to sue the first one.[&o]
