Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default al-Zarqawi arrested in Iraq?

Drudge is reporting that al-Zarqawi may have been arrested.

I'm not naive enough to think that will improve things in Iraq dramatically but it's gotta be a boost for our guys.

Keep your eyes peeled for confirmation either way!

I was hoping he'd end up catching a .308 in the face, but this works too. The news report doesn't give a whole lot of support to the claim, so he still might be out there. If he is killed or captured, I think it'll act as a speed bump in the path to terrorist attacks, but someone will eventually rise to take his place at the top. But hey, one down....

The US military is denying that he's been caught. They say they've checked with the unit that reportedly caught him and they don't have him.

Sorry for adding to the rumor mill. I'll be more careful in the future.

Hey, we're not going to shoot the messenger. This is big stuff. Just too bad it didn't turn out.

I wouldn't say that someone would rise to take his place. More like sink or stoop to take his place. If he's not yet caught, he may still get that .308 in the face.

On this board, especially in this forum, that could be a poor choice of expressions.

Darn! And Drudge is usually pretty reliable...darned shame this one wasn't for real. Here's hoping it won't be long!

With a dull kitchen knife; just like he did those hostages.
