"¢ In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide (which total 1,200 to 1,500) target illegal aliens. Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants (17,000) are for illegal aliens.
1. Let Bush and everyone else in national, state, and local government that we're not going to take it anymore. Actually vote for someone else if the incumbent doesn't get his/her head out of the sand.
2. Buy a gun, learn to use it effectively, and stockpile as much ammunition as possible.
I'll remain optimistic as long as there is some small glimmer of hope that Bush will drop this amnesty BS (would be the first sane move in a long process to crush illegal immigration), but I'm starting to get the feeling that Step 2 is the only sure thing.
In 2002, there were an estimated 6,316,000 car accidents in the USA. There were about 2.9 million injuries and 42,815 people were killed in auto accidents in 2002.
Tard's point was (or should've been) that the United States is being turned into a third world country.
My point is that my family gave great sacrifices to help keep this country free, and the politicians are giving the country away. We continue to let immigrants into this country, when we don"™t even have employment for those of us that are already citizens.
Don't bother with the "they only take the jobs no one else wants" argument. They take whatever job they can find. Once Bush pushes through his agenda, the newly legal immigrants will be after all the Wal-Mart, McDonalds, manufacturing, and whatever else they can get. The market is already flooded; jobs are going oversees at an alarming rate, and then our government wants to give away the few jobs that are left.[:@]

I am from a family who were immigrants so its very hard for me to understand that concept of its good for me and mine but not for others.
I come from a family of immigrants as well. Except mine didn't come here illegally, start collecting welfare without paying taxes, or expect the the government to give them documents in their native language(s). They didn't take the American Dream from others; they built it themselves.
That's exactly the point I wanted to make. Most of us come from immigrant backgrounds. We assimilated into the existing culture and became Americans. Now, the immigrant population expects us to assimilate to their culture, and America is dying in the process.
You hit the nail square.

Not ILLEGAL alien backgrounds -- or at least I hope.
As a fellow kraut, I'm sure you could appreciate this. When great-great-grandpa Johannes came over with his family, he felt the need to conceal his heritage in the face of anti-German prejudices leading up to WWI. He didn't complain, he didn't sue, he didn't live on the fringes of society. He wanted to be an American, and he didn't think twice. Johannes Brock, meet John Brooks.
