With the way the world is today and a lot of the biblical prophecies unraveling before our very eyes, are you scared ??? Are you afraid of what's to come ??? With the threat of a nuclear attack or far worse, a chemical attack such as an unleashing of smallpox doesn't scare me personally ( I'm not scared for my life ) but I do fear for my children's lives. The way I see it, it is bound to happen................ I just hope we as Americans are prepared for it. There is nothing besides for vaccines that could save lives if there were to be a smallpox outbreak.
No, I'm not scared. I believe that a nuclear, biological, or chemical attack will happen. Actually a comet will hit the earth eventually too. I do not let this worry me. I have a "Daddy" that is watching out for me. He controls EVERYTHING.
Actually there are four specific times now that I should have died or thought I was going to be killed. I am still sitting here, for the most part unharmed, typing right now....
God is in control and does not allow anything outside of His will to take place. We have some leeway in what He allows us to do, but ultimately He is in control.

At 57 years of age, a nuclear threat has been an everyday fact of life since I can remember. Worrying about it will only drive you nuts. I am more concerned with the more common threats of day to day existance, paying the bills and keeping the *^$%@@#*! politicians out of my pockets. As for biological or chemicals threats, while they could be serious, they are much more difficult to perpetrate than the press would like you to believe.
I see no reason why the human population should not be subjected to the laws of nature. Populations die off, and humans will as well. Granted, we have done a marvelous job of staving off mass deaths, but ultimately, man is inclined to do evil deeds. I think most of us know deep in our hearts that the worst is yet to come. The USA cannot survive forever, no empire ever has. I personally believe the bible is an accurate document, both in terms of history, and that which is yet to come.

That depends on how you define 'mass'. If you are talking about a magnitude of larger than 10s of millions then you would be correct, anything less, men have committed themselves in the last century alone.

The only repositories of Small Pox virus reside in the USA at the CDC, and the Russian counterpart to the agency. neither country is going to be giving any samples of the stuff out. For all practical purposes, Small Pox is extinct. On the other hand the media is doing enough to make people panic over flu vaccinces, which for the most part aren't necessary.

By whom? That threat passed about 15 years ago with the downfall of the only enemy that had the capability and the will to use nukes on us. Sure Iran is pursuing Nukes and N.Korea has them, but even if they were able to get one to our mainland, there would only be a few hundred thousand deaths on our side, and maybe 10 million on theirs- hardly biblical porportions.

Chemical attacks are probably the least effective of the WMDs- I only say probably because biological agents are very ineffective as well. I'd worry more about ecological warfare that are more damaging and permanent- Round Gobies, asian snakefish, and asian lady beetles were accidental but a very big nuisance and damaging, I'm still not willing to believe that the emergence of West Nile virus in the United States over the last few years was either an accident or unplanned however.
