Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default The topic of debate or conversation.

It does get heated, abusive, repetitive and opinionated in here but I try to stay away from this. One thing that strikes me is that sometimes I post on topics that get talked about and there are few reples to my responses. No big deal, I am not the smartest in here. But when someone posts alot like Shrew and he doesn't follow up..............What should I read from that?

There are of course no winners on debates in here because there are no judges............

Here is an example of Shrews question to me and my response.

Quote:
Buckmine, are you a Christian. By that I mean, do you believe that Jesus Christ is God and Savior???

Shrew will you respond again to my post on Karen Armstrong?

You ask me a tough question. I wish it were easy to answer. I consider myself Agnostic. I was raised Catholic. It all started in 9th grade when I started to question. Greek mythology was introduced. The Greeks believed in these Gods but it was later made up to be a bunch of stories.

What if the bible were a bunch of stories 1,000 years into the future?

Thats Incredible the TV show brought out a Pygmy Chimp. Its characteristic is that its 2nd & 3rd toes are half way webbed. My toes are webbed that way exactly and there are many others out there with the similiar toe webbing.

My grandmother never believed in dinosaurs because they were never mentioned in the bible.

I have come up with my own belief through the years and I am content on my belief. My Superior is not hateful and will allow me to enter into the other dimension peacefully. Jesus was and is with his preaching an extraordinary man.

Buck, please accept my apologies. It is not my intent to disregard you. I will make it, an effort to respond more to you, because you seem like a very likeable fellow.

Though not an excuse, I should mention that I suffer from Chronic Lymes disease, and have been diagnosed with MS, so sometimes I just kinda shut down when a "spell" hits me, and I sometimes forget about following up with responces. So days may go by before I respond, if I do at all, but it doesn't mean I am purposely avoided you.

In fact, my teaching, and writing here aids me in staying healthy. When I get into the Word heavy, and the Spirit is powerful I feel perfect in body.

I just found it strange that I noticed you were in the religion forum and I was waiting for your response. It never came for the longest time and you seem to be the person that is all over this board lately.

I also hinted that you sound similiar to the messageman that used to post here. Were you ever around to see his posts?

Shrew you answer Taz and not me?

I don't get it???????????

This quote is from another person............The use of He bothers me as it did Ms. Armstrong.

quote:

No, I'm not scared. I believe that a nuclear, biological, or chemical attack will happen. Actually a comet will hit the earth eventually too. I do not let this worry me. I have a "Daddy" that is watching out for me. He controls EVERYTHING.

Actually there are four specific times now that I should have died or thought I was going to be killed. I am still sitting here, for the most part unharmed, typing right now....

God is in control and does not allow anything outside of His will to take place. We have some leeway in what He allows us to do, but ultimately He is in control.
It bothers me when I am totally ignored? Am I not debate worthy?

Shrew this is your quote.

Quote:
Pointing out the sinful nature of self-righteous people, and exposing their lies, and hypocrisy is just a duty of mine.
Because you do not respond to me does that mean I am right?
