That's funny considering that every temple I have ever seen, regardless of religion, is adorned with works of art.

Corinthians 6:19 NIV: "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body."
One could take this to mean that that person should honor God by adorning his body with works of art honoring him.

Regardless if there are any religious implications, I agree with VC. Why would you want to permanently paint your body? Time is not kind to the human body and they look like crap the older you get. I just think they're tacky and gross looking anyway.
