There was a guy in Florida some years ago who called the sheriff's office to report that someone had stolen an ounce of cocaine from his hotel room . The rather surprised dispatcher asked the guy whether or not he was sure that he wanted to file a report of that kind , but he said that he did so one of the deputies got some coke from the seizure room and drove to the hotel . When it was held up and he was asked "Is this yours?" he said yes , so they arrested him . He admitted to having done "a little" earlier in the evening ...

I saw a show years ago called "America's Dumbest Criminals". The one video I saw that stuck in my mind was a guy who walked into a police station with arms full of huge pot plants, set them down on the counter and told the cops he will be right back cause he had more in the truck.
They obviously stopped him to question him and found that someone discovered he was growing them in his back yard, called the guy instead of the cops. They told him they were from the police station, found out he was growing pot, but they were too busy to go by his house right then, and if he just cut them down and brought them to the station, he would not be arrested. He believed it.... wonder if he was smoking some of his crop???
