Bush, Canada and missles.

He was just in Halifax today. He was saying he want's us to go with his missle defense plan, to "protect the next generation against the threat we know will come" What do you think he means by that?

I think he means that if a country that wants to destroy the United States gets ballastic missiles and nuclear technology, they'll use them. My guess is that we need to put the stuff in Canada to catch it early enough to make use of it. Can't imagine Canada being a target though . . .

Personally I don't think he trusts God enough. One day he will, but right now is too caught up in the world, to trust in God.

I think he trusts God plenty. He just doesn't trust people who kill other people in the name of God.

So God will destroy the missles or maybe not then it will be God's will,right?

Don't think the people that would hit us with missles believe Jesus is God. I bet they wish we would take up your way of thinking however.

Is that a bad thing for our President to be caught up in the world?

here's an oldie but a goodie, Srewman:

I terrible flood had hit, and a man had to climb to his roof for safety. Soon, a boat came by. "Do you need help?" asked the driver.

"No," said the man. "I trust the Lord to save me."

The water continued to rise to his feet when another boat came by. "Would you like a hand?" asked the driver.

"No," the man replied. "I trust the Lord. He will save me."

The water continued to rise to his waist when a helicopter came down. "Get in, you're being rescued!" shouted the pilot.

"No!" shouted the man. "I trust the Lord to rescue me!"

Moments later, th man was swept away, and he perished.

Upon reaching heaven, the man asked the lord, "Why didn't you save me? I trusted you."

To which the Lord replied, "Well, I sent two boats and a helicopter. What more could you want?"

I was thinking more along the lines of China and North Korea deciding it was time to play Hitler. Everyone knows their gearing up. It's a matter of when, not if. I was wondering what the U.S. inteligence was saying about that. I watched Bush make his speech this morning on CBC, and the way he said it, sounded rather ominous. Almost frightning.
