Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default the decline of HuntingPolitics.Com

Has reached rock bottom.

I can't help but remember the glory days of Static and Gobbler. The days that saw Sixby and Hogguide bringing thought provoking ideas to the table and everyone having long, drawn out debates that spanned the entire spectrum.

And now ?

Bickering and nitpicking with oversensoring that doesn't allow any thread to develop into anything more than members arguing with each other and degrading one another. Its sad. Chrisitne and I have sent emails back and forth and though I haven't intentionally tried to add to the problems here maye i have, because today yet another of my thread winked out of existance and I was trying to be civil and everything.

Anyway, this board might as well be shut down for all its worth. Really, theres no fun here anymore as evident by the lack of traffic and threads and replies. Moderators - take note of this and ask yourselves Why this is. I don't know what the answers are, but ya'll hold a key to it just like the members do. A new set of members with intrest, a new set of moderators, blitz the board and establish a new one with new sets of rules - I dunno. But the stench everyone is smelling is the rotting flesh of HuntingPolitics.com, because in all honesty, there is no politics discussed here anymore, its just people bickering, tearing at each others character and strongarm forum editing that when coupled together means death.

Ya'll have a continued great Hunting season, Christmas and New Years.

Hogguide was one of the biggest name callers I've seen on any board I've ever visited.

Let's be honest sure you have as I have at times. Just got a warning last week. Funny thing was I wasn't serious at all.

That's your opinion and your welcome to it. I disagree, sure that shocks you.

Have a good holiday. If you decide to leave don't come back with a differnt handle and pretend it's not you. OK?

I don't know if it has reached the bottom but it does lack some of the zip and interest it did have at one time. I don't credit any current of former member with keeping it pippy. That takes all the members, good issues for debate and a difference of interest or real view points.
I know my disagreements with one member got out of had here but I don't think that type of thing is in itself the total cause.
Many here are of like mind sets on many of the issues. When there is no debate on the issue, the thread become a sparring match for those with the slightest difference.

Personally I think it is all your fault SCat. You are nothing but a Liberal in a Conservative tong[] You have been exposed for the scoundrel you really are Sir. Now tuck it back in!!!

Ya know.....fng did offer some interesting and informed views. Like his stle or not, he was educated and had a plethora of knowledge to substantiate his opinions. His style did get WAY TOO abrasive for the last few months before he left us (booted?)

I don't have the time to enter the fray ....but enjoy reading through interesting topics..............

stealthycat, you are pointing to the sad and obvious ... it is too bad

Here ya go Stealthy. Bush's legacy after 2 terms in office will be the war on terror.......and thats it! His administration will be known as economically inept, his faith based candidacy is a spin, the trade deficit and our national debt will continue to spin out of control, and he will leave Social Security in a worse mess than when he came into office. While his good buddies continue to make millions off oil, he will not have a viable energy policy. The Assault Weapons Ban will resurface and Bush will sign it after some key conservative members of Congress become traitorous to the Republican party.

Oh yeah, the stars also says he will keep some very nice cigars on hand..........just in case a young intern is interested in "smoking" them.

Typical liberal statement.

Like thats a small accomplishment or something LOL.

Maybe he can get terrorism back to the point of just being a nuisance.

Very intelligent astute prediction Cougar. Bottom dollar you are correct. At the "risk" of being called a liberal LOL, I agree with you.
