Dead insurgents being brought to US for autopsy

Heard this morning that four dead insurgents from the mosque are being brought here for some hi-tech forensics and autopsies to determine if they were shot after injured (and unarmed), and to further the investigation of the taped shooting of the injured insurgent we've all been talking about.

This was on C-Span, Washington Post headlines. Haven't looked for the story yet, but thought this was interesting, disgusting actually. You think we are turning on ourselves with this? Or just trying to appease the UN and all the other whiners abroad?

I'd imagine they'd only go through the trouble to gather evidence for that marine's military court case.

bob why in the world didn't they send the experts over there, it would have been a lot cheaper. I beleive that the military wants to get to the bottom of this and see if the young man was within his rights to have taken this terrorist out or not.

This is the sort of thing that just makes me rip rorin mad!! Why in sam hill would we spend the money to drag a flea bag across the pond just to cut em up? I can't see it being for gathering evidence for the marine, maybe against him though. It is war isn't it? They are dead. They are dead because of war. Leave em in the sand!

Isn't it cheaper to store the bodies with luggage than first class.

Wonder what they will do with the stinkin bodies when they are done with them??????????? Maybe the liberals will have them buried at Arlington.

It could be that the process will produce evidence in favor of the marine that shot him. However, it may take the appropriate facilities to produce that evidence in a manner that will hold up legally and with finality.

While many would disregard the rule of law, both National, and International, and military conduct in order to stay in step with political partisanship, or to reach set agenda's; there are still some who seek to uphold the law, and to not allow "situational ethics" of these times to choke it out.
