I know alot of you take your Second Amendment seriously and pay attention to what is going on with the anti-gunners, the mainstream media,Liberal politicians and even a few Republicans trying to pass new laws everytime you turn around. I also realize that there are quite a few of you who believe that gun confiscation can NEVER happen in this country. I strongly suggest that you watch "The Great UN Gun Debate" that took place last October in London between Wayne LaPierre of the NRA and Rebecca Peters from IANSA.
IANSA is the International Action Network on Small Arms.George Soros is one of their largest money sources. Anyone who doubts what we as gun owners in this country are going to face in the near future MUST get this DVD and watch it and then let everyone you know watch it too. This is VERY serious, I'm not exagerating at all.
Rebecca Peters was asked what kind of firearms that her group would think the average law abiding citizen should be allowed to own for self defense and hunting and her answer was a single shot shotgun or rifle would be about all they'd accept. That is just one answer to one question. Get a copy and pass it along to your friends. I got it for donating 5.95 to the NRA.

Oh i believe ya fight.
Ol saying to" Yod be suprized what ppl will get use to( and except)_ .
And except as normal.
First it was the milatary&(SO CALLED) assult weapons& handguns, then it was shotguns & all that was left was 22,s& single shots.
Then of course all black powder& any explosives & bp firearms all used in the military/ as a weapon at one time. And could be used by criminals &..... terrorists too.( a good excuse to punish the law abiding citizens)
Sounds like a good time to disarm dosnt it?[&:]

Given the responses of alot of people on this board about the SKS used in the recent hunting massacre, I'm more afraid than ever that what happened in Australia can happen here.

Same here Briman- the responses on the sks& other things around makes it look like some have no problem going along with gun control, registration, gun bans etc

I just kinda chuckle at people who posture soo intensely about their right to own weapons which the Government defines as acceptable for them to own.
So just where is the posturing you find so amusing? I see people that are genuinely concerned about their rights as citizens of the United States not only in the arena of gun owner rights but in other areas as well. Please enlighten me with your obvious insight into the workings of the world so I may share the benefits.

By posturing, I mean the yankee doodle, flag waving, "I am the NRA" nonsense I see bantered about by people who are in effect squabbling over the scraps that fall off the federal table.
Your second ammendment rights have; for all intent purposes ceased to exist long ago. Sure you can own some handguns, and rifles that are on the "approved" list, but you do not have the right to own, and carry the weapontry that the federal armed forces carry, and the ones you are allowed to have must be registered with those who limit your right to bear arms. The guy who presently sets in whitehouse agrees with this, and yet millions site him as the "second ammendment" president.

But in the mean time, I'll keep my "serf guns" as there may be a day when I might need one to obtain an "upgrade".
You just sit back and keep blaming the president, black helicoptors, or earlier generations for your concerns while others like me actually do something to help protect the rights you have left.

If this is posturing, color me guilty. Without the NRA and like minded organizations, there wouldn't even be those "scraps", as you term them. So many people, you included apparently, would rather just give up than fight for those rights we have remaining. Just what is your point in posting, nearly anything you post? There seems to be no point in anything you have written other than to be a contrarian. I have yet to see anything positive or enlightening come from you. You have the buzz speak down pretty good but like most of the liberals I have ever met, don't have a clue as how to fix anything, only how to complain about things and put down those that attempt to make things better.
As for GWB being anti-gun, to a degree I agree with you, I doubt that there is a politician in the world that is truly pro-gun, after all, it is the politicians that the second ammendment was designed to protect us from.
