Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default The 5 Books of Moses

http://www.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/book...eut/index.html

Anybody else going to get this ? Assume we do, and read it, and it points to several things that are not what a normal bible would say - like the earth when god first touched it and all ?? Does it make a difference ? How ?

Thoughts ?

My first thought is "What does this have to do with politics?"
My second thought is "When will this get moved to a more appropriate forum?"

I'll tell you what it has to do with politics, kev, glad you asked.

In the end times as described in the Bible, many things/events will take place, many signs will be given, etc... The end times directly correlates to politics in every way - that IS Biblical prophecy.

Here's the problem with this Stealth:
Quote:
Biblical scholar Robert Alter's major new English translation of the first five books of the Hebrew Bible
Here is a MAN messing around with the Word of God. The King James version is the one I'll read.

Back to kevin1's question: One thing that will happen in the end times is many men proclaiming to be God and false prophets and man altering the Word and so forth. Well, there it is. Right in front of you - a man coming up with his own version of the Bible. The way it connects to politics is again, simply prophecy being fulfilled just as it is with what is going on in this world - wars, globalism, world economy, etc..... Nearing that age of a NWO.

He was a gay man too seriously not being a wise guy.

How come you didn't post this in the appropriate forum stealthy? You know the one us athiest aren't welcome in any more.

Some info on King James1

The life and work of King James I of England (VI of Scotland) is well documented in primary source materials. With that, the fact that he loved other men is well known. Although available primary source materials are not explicit about sexual activity, there is one letter from his beloved George Villiers, the Duke of Buckingham ("Steenie"), in which some scholars believe that the Duke is undeniably hopeful for sexual contact between himself and James. Buckingham described himself as a man who, "threatens you, that when he once gets hold of your bedpost again, never to quit it."

In another instance, Buckingham related that he was very excited about the idea of returning to England from Spain and said, "I cannot now think of giving thanks for friend, wife, or child; my thoughts are only bent on having my dear Dad and Master's legs soon in my arms." There are numerous accounts of James's attentions to and exploits with other men-his "favorites"-which range from prolific public kissing and hugging to witnessing men in bed with him and going and coming frequently from his bedchamber.

Of course, the main point of controversy surrounding the nature and scope of James's possible homosexual activity centers on his sponsorship of the translation of the Bible from Hebrew and Greek into standard English-rendering the King James Bible (AV 1611). Many Christians view this act as holy and as a reflection of James's piety and therefore resist the idea that James participated in homosexual behavior. Technically speaking, since there are no accounts which specifically identify the act of homosexual sex between James and any other men, claims that James was at the very least bisexual cannot be made. However, some denominations, such as The Liberated

I'm not a mod Kitty ,
nor did I make the rules . Badshot's assertion to the contrary , biblical prophesy has nothing to do with political reality and doesn't belong here . You guys have a forum all to yourselves a few clicks down , how about using it ?
