Media Bias need examples

Hey fellas im going to do something i promised myself not to do this year since i pissed off my liberal professor( deaniac ) last year and my grade went down a little. And in my speech class people hate Bush and you get the idea. So i promised myslelf i wont touch politics for any of my speeches but i couldnt resist when one lady absolutely went beserk on bush today for trashing gay rights blah blah you get the idea. Well i think its time to present my views and trash the liberal media and im going to trash dan rather, NY times you name it. I need examples from you guys to help me which would be great. And ill tell you how it went if i make it out of there alive!

I got the following:

1. Forged Documents
2. NY times all over the Abu Ghraib every day.
3. Ted Koppel interviewing Viet Cong Soldiers to talk about how great John Kerry was.

I think we can look @ how the old mainstream media is treating this "story" about the marine who shot the terrorist who was faking being dead. They have convicted this marine of the most horrid crime without a trial & without the facts. They are treating these terrorists as insurgent freedom fighters. These terrorist use the lowest tactics - targeting innocents, hiding behind women & children & mosques, booby-trapping dead bodies, faking death or surrender to kill our troops. This marine was totally justified, given the tactics used by the terrorists to kill our troops, in shooting that terrorist faking death. However, the old mainstream media is using a small part of that video to "Rodney King" this incident, trying to turn as many against the US military, President Bush, & a Free Iraq as possible. I wonder if they have any conscience, any soul?

Whitehorse that was another reason why i wanted to do this because i am sick and tired of the OLD MEDIA rushing to judgement and trying to underestimate the Iraq war. Look how they treated Abu Ghraib and putting those pictures up as front page news but we cant show people being beheaded?

I read this yesterday, perhaps in an old American Rifleman magazine issue. The headline "Gun Victim" is a little misleading. This implies the gun caused the injury or death. Maybe this is a bad example of media bias, more indicative of the imprecise and weak thinking of the whole general public when it comes to guns.

Excellent point. It seems in today's news that the method of murder is more critical to a story than the murder itself. I might be going out of a limb here, but it makes sense to me that stressing a weapon more than a person is going to make the general public fear guns more than the people who abuse them.

Please dont forget the interview with Dan Rather and Saddam Hussein where Hussein wanted Rather to moderate a debate with Pres. Bush because Rather was so highly esteemed and well thought of by the Hussein regime! I wanted to puke over that!
