Default Ohio to recount the votes.....???

A report on public radio last night indicated that two third-parties (Libertarian and Green...??, can't remember), are going to go through the legal procedures to recount all the Ohio votes based on assumed voting problems such as voter intimidation, faulty ballots, etc. They need to raise $113,000 in order to have the votes recounted. They are claiming that President Bush did not actually win Ohio. I have searched a few news sites this morning but cannot come up with a thing. Even checked AP. Anyone else hear of such a thing?

I heard that also but it was lawyers "checking" the count. Supposedly one county had 18,000 votes cast but only 13,000 registered. I think they are only looking for fraud not a switch from Bush to Kerry.

Truck is still in the body shop, so I have no XM Satellite radio, have to listen to something.

Thanks for the link Aught. This seems to be in addition to what the report I heard was, because it was specifically centered around Ohio only. Nonetheless, I really think these people should have a seat.

I heard something about a certain county that purportedly had more votes than voters, but that same website that put the claim out retracted it a few hours later after learning it was untrue. The left is hurling whatever it can out there in hopes that something will stick. Some on the left claim republicans forged the fake documents Rather got hammered with. Some claim republicans came out with the weapons cache story before debunking it with evidence those weapons weren't there from the outset. Then it got legs again and nothing was mentioned about republicans making it up. Now they are saying that all those exit polls couldn't be wrong. By doing so, they are implicitly assuming that the greatest conspiracy on the face of the earth has occurred. Thousands of Republicans from counties all across the country supposedly worked in secrecy and had access to the vote machine count and somehow manipulated it so Bush would win the election. They have ZERO proof this impossiblity occurred, but imply that it "must have" because their exit polls weren't accurate. Talk about paranoid!

Some on the fringe kook left are doing their best to say this election was stolen. With no evidence, these people are still trying their best to deny the reality that President Bush won a majority of the popular vote, 51%, as well as the electoral vote majority. They're looking for anything to feed their hatred.
