I WANTED TO THANK ALL OF OUR VERTERANS FOR THEIR SERVICE TO OUR GREAT COUNTRY, WITHOUT YOU OUR COUNTRY MIGHT NOT BE GREAT AT ALL. GOD BLESS!

Thank you, but I don't think most of us believe we did anything special. We did what we have done because it was the right thing to do and because we were able to do it at the time, many others wished to but were unable for one reason or another. I have personally received more from this nation than my 26 years service could ever repay. I thank those that serve today and those that will serve in the future and pray for their safe return to their families and loved ones. So many have not returned and continue "On Patrol" their sacrifice is so much more than anything the rest of us have contributed than can be imagined. God Bless them all, May God continue to Bless America.

Yes,

A day that is set aside for our military veterans, who go to war unsure and afraid, and return home confident and heroes, should be taken seriously.

I gave my class the day off the other day at college, to which one responded, "you're alright Chris..."

I said, "don't thank me, go thank a veteran or write a letter to someone overseas protecting our freedoms RIGHT NOW!"

It's a real shame [

] that most people just don't show the respect [:@], even when we have service personnel in the field giving their all.

To Coastie and all of you veterans currently serving or retired., a big and heartfelt thankyou for putting your life on the line for the rest of us. To all of my fellow Marine vets who aren't serving anymore, thankyou and a big Semper Fi.

Thank You. I was in the evil war. The one that John and Jane decided was wrong. One of those baby killers. John found out that you can't bad mouth your country and fellow servicemen and women and then be commander in Chief. For that I thank all Bush voters. And all other veterans. Thanks to the younger guys who served and didn't have to.
