Mrs. Six asked me to make a sticker for her car. When we were younger and more idealistic, we more or less aligned ourselves with the leftist section of the Libertarian Party. Now that we're more aware of ourselves, our country, and our world, we've made a slow but steady shift to the right. It was all about priorities. We're proud to be Americans, and we're grateful for the opportunities we have. We live in the greatest country the world will ever know. Sure we'd like to see some things change, but even with all of the crap out there, America still is so wonderful.
Now, back to the sticker. I want to hear all of your cracks about liberals and liberalism so I have some humor to work with. The sticker is going to read something along the lines of:
I USED TO BE A TREE-HUGGING (insert more labels here) LIBERAL...
Until we got together and I gave her some lessons on the Second Amendment, she was pro-gun control.
So..."tree hugging, gun grabbing..."
Could you add "tofu eating..."
What was that anti Howard Dean add from the primaries... the two older folks..."late drinking..." I can't remember the whole list they had about Dean. It was funny though!
"Howard Dean should take his tax-hiking, government-expanding, latte-drinking, sushi-eating, Volvo-driving, New York Times-reading ..." before the farmer's wife then finishes the sentence: "... Hollywood-loving, left-wing freak show back to Vermont, where it belongs."
Aught six I did not mean it to be an insult to your better half at all, after re-reading what you asked and my reply I can see I was wrong in what I said and for that I apoligize.[]

I know, I'm just messing with you. I'm more worried about hurting her feelings if I make it too offensive. Yeah, we want to make a statement against the Left, but I'm trying to make it a personal reflection of how she once felt. We weren't flaming lefties, just immature kids with a bit of bleeding heart.
