Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Republicans would you...

Would you vote for Zell Miller for president in 2008? Thought it would be interesting to see the responses.

I too would have to dig a little deeper in his record, but from what I do know he is an old school Democrat from when they weren't necessarily the bad guys. The party took a hard left turn somewhere along the way. That is something strategists were discussing today, how to get the Democratic party back towards the center. Most people live somewhere in the middle and are put off by fanatics on either the right or left. I think moderation is the key for both parties and for healing the rift caused by this bitter campaign.

I think so. Like the others I would have to know a little more about him.

depends.

If the Republicans ran some east coast liberal (someone like Guiliani) Zell would get my vote.

He is a good guy but I dont know his record. I would like to see him have some place in the Bush administration and test him out on a range of issues. Pluse I think he is of a age where he would like to spend more time at home with his family. He has been in the public sector for over 40 years, might be due for some downtime.

Miller is what used to be called a Dixiecrat, a Dixiecrat is a very conservative Democrat, Virginia except for Northern Va. is full of them. Depending upon who was running against him would determine who I voted for, but I can tell you this, I would pick him over Daschle or Kerry.

I hope and pray that the Democratic party wakes up after this election and realizes that the far left is not where this country is at.

Since he is supposedly retiring this year I'll have t say no .
If he weren't retiring I would definitely consider him , Dixiecrats are the only Dummycraps I have any respect for .
