I realize that the final, absolute confirmation of Bush winning will occur when Ohio counts those provisional votes but Kerry would need to carry approximately 3/4ths of those votes to win and that just isn't likely. For all practical purposes, Bush has won by almost 4 million popular votes and it looks like probably 16 extra electoral votes.
Nader wasn't the spoiler all the demos thought he would be. Nader got a little over 400,000 votes nationally and even if all of his votes would have gone to Kerry, ole John-Boy would have still lost.
Other good news is that Senator Dashole has apparently been voted out of office in South Dakota (finally). The Republicans have picked up seats in the House and Senate which is not very common for a 2nd term election. It's great to be a Republican right now and probably sucks to be a Democrat.
