I hope you are right. Sounds like the Dems are going to do the court thing again. I hope I never hear another thing about that Kerry who was the biggest traitor of this century. It amazes me that a clown misfit who turned his back on his fellow servicemen and trotted around the world giving comfort to the enemy could get that many votes. Its scary as hell to me.

As far as I'm concerned, the biggest consequence of this election, for gun ownership, is that George Bush will be appointing perhaps the next three supreme court justices rather than John Kerry. With Kerry in the white house but a Republican majority in both the house and the senate, federal gun legislation wasn't going to change too much. But with Kerry in the white house no telling what kind of anti-second amendment supreme court justices we might end up with, and those judges sit for a real long time -- maybe 20 years!!!
Man, what an election. I felt good about Bush winning, but I never would've guessed that Republicans would gain ground in both the House and Senate on top of it all. And when you throw in the probability of a couple conservative Supreme Court Justices, suddenly my outlook just became even more positive. Like I said, what an election....
This is not the time for us to let down our guard. There is many states out there that can create havoc. And the anties have had their feelings hurt, BAD! They may lost some muscle, but they are still tricky. I won't be happy until I can get in my caar, drive cross-country without having to lock my arm as I go through states that don't recgonize my right to carry.
