Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default What kind of turnout are you seeing?

Waited in line about an hour this morning to vote. When I came out the line was longer than when I went in. This was approx. 10 am. People said it had been that way since the polls opened at 7:00. I drove by again at around 3:00, and the line was still the same! This is in a fairly rural area of Michigan, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is good news for Bush, but who knows. Also didn't see the throng of cell phone voters(18-24 yrs) that the dems were predicting. What are you guys seeing in your precincts?

I live in a city of about 11,000 people, and my precinct was and still is pretty well packed. I arrived around 8:30 and waited about an hour and fifteen minutes to vote. Two years ago I was in and out in less than 10 minutes for the congressional election.

Poll workers told me that the line started forming at 4:30 this morning, and needless to say, turnout was the highest they've ever seen. I live on the fringes of liberal Northern Virginia, but the majority in my area are Republicans.

I was at the polling place at 7 AM and the three ladies working there were just beside themselves because of the line that had formed. A total of five people!!!! One lady told me that she had never seen that many people in there at one time in her twenty years of voting. Come to think of it I have never seen that many people in there at one time.

I worked the polls----handing out Bush/Cheney stickers this morning and doing my best to nudge the 5 or 6 undecided voters I met. It was a huge turnout. Last election I was in and out with only about 10 people in front of me. This time it was an hour wait. HUGE participation in the process. I'm crossing my fingers that W can pull it out.
They just gave him Arizona on ABC news. And they have already given California (or as I like to call it, New Canada) to Kerry. I'm wound up tighter than a tick' hat band.

I went in around 4:00. I was in and out in fifteen minutes. I was voter 884 for the day. I live in a town of 3000 people. So I would say it was up from last election.
