RE: What kind of turnout are you seeing?
I live in a city of about 11,000 people, and my precinct was and still is pretty well packed. I arrived around 8:30 and waited about an hour and fifteen minutes to vote. Two years ago I was in and out in less than 10 minutes for the congressional election.
Poll workers told me that the line started forming at 4:30 this morning, and needless to say, turnout was the highest they've ever seen. I live on the fringes of liberal Northern Virginia, but the majority in my area are Republicans.
