I'm just curious to know if they are all votes for Kerry. My observation is that Democrats scream at supposed voter suppression that can never be proved, while fraudulently overvoting any way they can (Mary Poppins, polls open for hours after closing time, illegal ballots, etc. etc.). That is why they insist on monitoring the polls to ensure people aren't being tackled or waved away with a gun (doesn't happen folks!), but say that showing ID to prove people are who they purport to be is "voter intimidation."
I can confirm this report. I am in PA but I voted for Bush at 7:15am. So did my wife. She was a Democrat who re-registered as a Democrat and voted for Bush. Kerry's sleaziness helped her make that decision.
What is the current population of Philadelphia ?
Somehow , even if this turns out to be true(which I doubt) , it's unlikely that such a small number of fradulent votes would change the overall outcome . To even try that is grasping at straws since Philly is a lib stronghold anyway . does anyone have independant , verifiable confirmation . No offense Taz , but Drudge ain't exactly the last word .

It's not just Drudge. They're talking about it on the local radio stations and Santorum was also talking about it. Philly is a lib stronghold but don't count PA out. A lot of people see through Kerry here. We might pull it off here. 4 MORE YEARS!!!!
Im not certian what type of voting machines these are but as I understand it this is more a case of a poll worker who does not know their job or equipment as it may be a case of fraud.
Some voting machines have two counters that track the number of votes cast on that machine. It is like your vehicle having a TRIP meter and an ODOMETER.
After the election the trip meter is zero'd but the odometer retains the accumlated votes for the life of the machine. If these are new machines or have had limited use these numbers would not be unusual.
The person working there as a assigned employee should be totally familiar with the machine. This does not appear to be the case.
Some jerk, I believe the mayor of Philly, came on FOX and stated this was just a knee jerk unfounded attempt by the Republicans to cause trouble. Maybe he should do a better job of over seeing the poll workers and their training than attacking people concerned with a fair election.
