My post regarding the terrorist attact got me to thinking on how prepared I am. I am good to go for at least two weeks as far as food and water with unlimited water purification capilities. I have a 6000 watt generater and have HAM, CB, GMRS and FRS radio communications. As far as firearms I have these gunsdd with hundreds if not thousands of rounds
I have several guns, lots of ammo and a fereezer full of moose and elk meat. I normally don't keep that much water on hand but should. No generator but plan to obtain one for simple power failures. I'm in a township so no well or spring for water. I probably should keep more water on hand but don't.

I'm prepared enough, but not as prepared as I'd want to be. I'm not going to list my arsenal inventory for security reasons. Nothing illegal--I just don't like trolls knowing exactly what I've got.
I carry a gallon size ziploc bag with me at all times incase of a chemical attack, i can quickly place it over my head and seal it shut.
In all honesty. not as prepared as i probably should be, i am good equipment wise but not on the provision side, but that can be quickly remedied if need be.
The only thing I worry about is heat in winter. Our house is heated with gas. On the other hand, we have a house in upper michigan that is heated mostly by wood, but I we would need nearly a full tank of gas to get there.
I just saw "Dawn of the Dead" on DVD. It made me think about how frighteningly undergunned I am, and how easily my house could be breached.
I think its time to get an M4 carbine
