Alright, here is your absolutely worthless facoid of the day to consider, take it for what it is worth. If you are a gambling man, you may appreciate the trend here, otherwise you may find it to be truely coincidental.
So, without further ado...........
The Washington Redskins began playing football in the NFL in 1933. Every Presidential election beginning in 1936 through 2000 have one thing in common, the Redskins were the prognosticators of who would win the Presidential election. You see, for whatever reason, the final Redskins home game prior to Presidential election is the common theme. When the Redskins win that game, the incumbent President wins re-election, when they loose, the incumbent looses his re-election bid.
What do we have this Sunday? The Redskins at home vs the Packers. That's right, the final home game prior to the election, and if history repeats itself, it does not look good for the President, as the Skins are a 2 point dog at home right now.
So there you have it, now everyone repeat after me......
Hail to the Redskins, Hail Victory, Hail to the Redskins, Fight for all DC!!!!!!
RE: Hail to the Redskins!!!!!!!!!! Hail Victory!!!!
First off I think Beagle001 is right on the money. The curse or string of events has been broken. This is the year for it.
As far as the game goes, what I saw of it was good for the Packers. They did not play as well in the second half but I was too busy handing out candy and scaring the kids in my devil outfit to watch the game. I listened to what I could and it sounds as if old #4 has a very sore hand and arm. The week off will do this banged up team some good.
Now lets hope the Bush team does as well on Tuesday

Well, while the Redskins lost, both Texas teams won & the Boston area team lost. President Bush won the Weekly Reader poll & also the Channel One (in-school television station) election. Also, P'lod (the alien who predicts the elections for The Weekly World News) has picked President Bush.
So we have a "You Pick'em" for election predictors, depending on what side you fall. What will really determine who wins or loses will be those who vote Tuesday along with those who have already voted. That's why I'm working to get those who will vote for President Bush to the polls on Tuesday & hope you do the same!

IMO If this Nation is to continue to grow and prosper and be a leader on this planet, Bush had better win. I hope it is by a great deal so we don't have to wait for all the lawyers to get through with their BS. That will be equally hard on this nation.
