Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Is the BBC in favor of a gun ban in other countries?

Very intresting but why would they post it unless they want some focus put on gun owners. I could not think of a better place to own a gun. I would own one in every hand at all times if I lived in that crap hole.

I don't think they want to focus on guns owners, but rather gun control. Notice how they tie high ownership to high gun crimes. South Africa is one of the most dangerous countries in the world in terms of violent crime. Brazil is right up there, too, and they just mandated a bunch of new gun control laws.

Many people among the european educated elite think that banning all guns is feasible, and will in turn wipe violent crime off of the map. Obviously their education came from stuffy universities, not life on the mean streets.

I think you are right. I know they are acting as a voice for the movement in the UN. They better not get their hopes up when they start to hop the Atlantic with that talk.

Since the BBC is goobermint owned it should be no surprise that they are also antigun . Comparing the situation in South Africa to the other countries is self serving at best for the reasons stated in the article . In those other countries guns are just harder to get period . Mighty strange since Africa is one of several places where you can buy full auto AK-47s for $50 .

Having been to Africa personally I'll say this , if I were to move to a place that has dangerous large animals roaming freely I doubt that you could pry my gun from my hands with WD-40 and a crowbar ...
