Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default "October Suprise" 18 Months Late?

It's been made obvious the "lost" exposives were gone before our troops got there, but an interesting point was made about this on Fox news--this was discovered back in April (?) of 2003! I'll ask a question with an obvious answer--why bring this up like it's a breaking news story a year and a half after it was discovered? Seems like pure desparation from the Dems AND the networks. I was suprised that NBC was given credit with being the first to point out the explosives were gone before we had any chance to take control of them.

Now kerry is talking about these explosives possibly being in the hands of terrorists, and about it being the "largest bonanza of explosives in history" (although it only accounts for about 1/10th of 1% that the US knew was there). How could this be? There were no WMD's, right? even though one of the uses for these particular types of explosives is to detonate nukes. If a cache this huge could be moved, and hidden, how can they prove there were no nukes? Now President Bush waited too long to invade? How in the world can people be so blind to the constantly changing "facts" the kerry team presents???????

Lastly, kerry was quoted saying something about a country that would not protect those in it that could not defend themselves, defending destroying embryos for stem cell research--the helpless he referred to were those in the same/similar condition as Chris Reeves was. Does anyone notice the irony in that, coming from someone who has no respect whatsoever for the most innocent and helpless in promoting abortion "rights"? I remember hearing about Mother Teresa making a similar statement some years ago before an international audience--talking about the sad condition of a country that would not protect the unborn. She recieved applause--a standing ovation, I believe--aside from the clinton's, who just sat and looked ticked off.

I got to quit watching the news. Getting my blood pressure up.

Like Iran Contra right before the 92 election and GW's drinking arrest story 1 day before the election in 2000 announcing that Gore won Florida 2 hours before the Polls closed in the Panhandle. CBS is pretty darn shameful and you would think that centrist Democrats unlike Libbie Dumbocrats would catch on to this but hasn't happened yet. Why is it that a Republican hasn't stooped to that yet?
