Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Just emailed in my request for an absentee ballot. Since I work 10 hour days I qualify to vote absentee.....

What other things are up for vote other than Pres?

One of your senators down there in Alabama who's a great pro-gun guy is Richard Shelby. And your congressmen/women are all up for re-election.

If Shelby is on the ballot, he has my vote.

That's great! Just realize that your absentee vote, in all likelyhood, will not be counted until well after the fat lady has sung and left the dressing room. Ten hour days are a drag but the law states that your employer has to give you time to vote. Go in late, leave early, take a long lunch, do something to insure your vote will be counted.

I just got mine in the mail. Absentee is a great way to vote and it does count.
