RE: Gas prices are about to drop big time?
Sorry fellas, gas will be high for a while longer.
Some things are keeping it at record levels for crude barrels.
Strike in some south american country that exports alot to the US.
Still not 100% recovered from the hurricans in the Gulf states production region.
The Arabs who controll the oil still refise to increase production by any measurable amounts.
The main reason gas is high is because we still do not have enough refineries in the US. How many do we have five or six maybe? Thats alot of gas to make from crude oil!
Enviromentalist are the reason we have such a problem with Natural gass also. Work to build a new super processing center on an abandend port in Kalifornia was stoped, not because of enviromental problems (technically speaking), but because of an ordinance where any new plants had to be built three miles away from neighbor hoods! It didnt matter if the old ports docks were delapadated, abandend, falling to shambles and such. It was an ideal place capible of revitalizing the entire community and, supply a much needed product..........then they want to complain about heating cost for their homes and such. [:@]
BUT OH WAIT TILL JANUARY, KERRY WILL FIX EVERYTHING
