Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Gas prices are about to drop big time?

There were several Kerry supporting folks on this board that several months a go predicted that oil and gas prices would drop dramatically about 2 weeks before the elections. This was supposedly going to insure a victory for President Bush and all his oil cronies. Tomorrow will be the 2 week point so I can't wait. I needed to get gas this morning but I'm stretching it till tomorrow so I can pay one dollar or less for a gallon of gas. [:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(]
I know it's going to happen, I mean President Bush controls the worlds oil doesn't he and he does want to get re-elected. I would like to hear from those folks that predicted these falling gas prices right before the election.

Rockytop, don't hold your breath. If for some really unfortunate circumstance Tomato Head gets voted in he will really make it better for us. He'll probably divert from the strategic reserve roughly 3 days of usage for the country and spend weeks gloating about how he fixed it.

It was like their saying we'd catch Osama Bin Laden just before the election. This way, no matter what happens, they can criticize Bush. Their hatred for him is so deep, they want troops to die in Iraq, gas prices to go through the ceiling, and our economy to tank.

Sorry fellas, gas will be high for a while longer.

Some things are keeping it at record levels for crude barrels.

Strike in some south american country that exports alot to the US.
Still not 100% recovered from the hurricans in the Gulf states production region.
The Arabs who controll the oil still refise to increase production by any measurable amounts.

The main reason gas is high is because we still do not have enough refineries in the US. How many do we have five or six maybe? Thats alot of gas to make from crude oil!
Enviromentalist are the reason we have such a problem with Natural gass also. Work to build a new super processing center on an abandend port in Kalifornia was stoped, not because of enviromental problems (technically speaking), but because of an ordinance where any new plants had to be built three miles away from neighbor hoods! It didnt matter if the old ports docks were delapadated, abandend, falling to shambles and such. It was an ideal place capible of revitalizing the entire community and, supply a much needed product..........then they want to complain about heating cost for their homes and such. [:@]

BUT OH WAIT TILL JANUARY, KERRY WILL FIX EVERYTHING

Don't forget that the Chinese are buying up as much petroleum, steel, and timber as they can get their hands on. Prices of alot of things are going to go up to very high levels and aren't going to come down anytime soon.

ANYTHING good that happens between now and election day will be seen as a ploy by "team Bush" to steal the election. He's not allowed to accomplish anything positive because of these accusations. The media would ramp up their rhetoric even more obvious than they already have. It's ridiculous how one sided it is and how any attempt at a fair, even handed reporting of anything is seen as "far-right extreemist" view by the far left media.
