I calculated my adjusted tax at slightly over 17% last year taking only standard deduction since we didn't have enough deductions to itemize . This gives the idea of a flat tax with ZERO loopholes far more credence .

Of course it would mean that the bloated Federal and State goobermints would have to lose some of their excess weight and be held accountable for every dime they spend .
