Easily found, checked, cross-referenced on the web is the fact that stem cell research is doing nothing for those with spinal cord injuries or alzheimers, but is focusing on Parkinson's & stroke victims. This is just desperate, low, pandering to the ignorant.
YEAH AND EVEN LOWER BLAME BUSH FOR LETTING REEVES DIE WHEN IN FACT CLINTON WAS PRESIDENT FOR SOME TIME THAT REEVES WAS PARALYZED. LAST MINUTE ATTEMPT IN THE RACE.
Its amazing how Kerry is bring up so many "facts" about stem cell research for knowing nothing about it. Now here's the dilema. If they were able to do the stem cell research that they want to do ... and someone has some type of misfortune or dies from the research or whatever...is Kerry and Edwards gonna try and sue the doctors into bankruptcy??? I'd say yes...
thats a great point Brian and this stuff is not even slightly proven to help people ZILCH NADA no proof whatsover that it will " CURE" spinal injuries or regenerate it.
Anyone that knew anything about Reeves and his belief in stem cell research knows that he himself said it would not help him (wont work on impact injuries) but he wanted to support it for others that had other problems. Edwards is a wannabe punk that will run his mouth about anything and use anything he can to push his agenda... Including a dead man that was voting for Bush.

Kerry now says he got a phone message from Reeves right before he died saying that Kerry was the right choice for America's future. Chris Matthews asked Kerry's spokeswoman if Kerry could produce the recording to prove it was real. She was stopped dead and said it may have been destroyed. There will be records of the call and I think they need to ferret out the facts. If Kerry made it all up to win then he should be hung.
