In 2002, Kerry said Saddam was biggest threat to US?
I heard Sean Hannity say that the other night. If it's true, this is the single biggest flip flop of the many, because he since said Iraq was "far from the center on the war on terrorism," and that "Saddam was NOT a threat." Does anyone know of any documentation of him saying Saddam was the biggest threat to the US?
RE: In 2002, Kerry said Saddam was biggest threat to US?
I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force if necessary to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security.
John F. Kerry
Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real..."

RE: In 2002, Kerry said Saddam was biggest threat to US?
Kerry went on to say in one of the debates leading up to the Democratic primary in Iowa: "Anyone who does not believe that Saddam Hussein had to be removed from power is not fit to be elected President of the United States." Of course, he was saying that because of Howard Dean's strong anti-war stance which was resonating with a lot of left wing Democrats.
It has just been in the last three weeks or so, after he brought James Carville and Co onboard, that Kerry has flopped way over to the Dean position!!!

And now he says that this is the wrong war at the time at the wrong place, I find myself wondering if he would rather be having this war on our soil or what by that comment.
ALL THIS FLIP-FLOPPING WE SEE HIM DOING IS BUT ABOUT ONE THING.
HE SMELLS A VOTE OUTHERE SOMEWHERE.
