Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I've heard these figures before, and they don't seem to get any attention at all among the mainstream media (surprise, suprise). I, personally, am not really worried about outsourcing. I think American ingenuity, adaptability, and work ethic can and will overcome all economic woes if we stand together.

Frankly, Kerry is using this argument like every other one in his speeches: scream out bad news because so many people won't know the difference from the truth anyway.

Something that I find surprising is that absolutely NO ONE in the media had alluded to the fact that nearly all of the heinz businesses have been outsourced overseas. He whines and complains about it in every speech and yet he allows it to continue in his wife's companies.

Stinkin' hypocrit.

DaveH ,
he "allows" it because neither he nor his wife have any say in the day to day operations of HJ Heinz . His wife is merely a lower level stockholder , Kerry has no say in the matter at all .

Aught ,
well said !

The use of buzzwords for propaganda rely on the idea that people have a short term memory.

When Clinton was in office, big evil corporations downsized their employees.

Nowadays, the same big evil corporations are outsourcing jobs because GW is in office.

Nevermind that Clinto signed Nafta into law.

Its just the manipulation of a few words that mean roughly the same thing that can push peoples' emotions one way or another. If you just look at the rest of the mainstream media's agenda, you can see right through it.
