Tyrannical judges and the gays

So we see another case of tyrannical judges (unelected) imposing their will on the people.


Focus on the Family Action founder Dr. James Dobson Tuesday harshly rebuked Louisiana State Judge William Morvant's decision to overturn the state's constitutional amendment protecting traditional marriage - a measure passed just weeks earlier by a vast majority of Louisiana's voters: (78%)


"Once again we are witnessing the imperious judiciary blatantly ignoring the will of the voters. These tyrannical judges continue to show an eagerness to legislate from the bench, imposing their own agendas, and those of their activist allies, upon American families. The will of the people of Louisiana could not be clearer - this amendment passed with the support of nearly eighty percent of the votes. Yet this judge saw fit to disenfranchise those voters in favor of a radical social agenda.

"This attack only confirms the need for an amendment to the federal constitution defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman. Without this protection, individual courts and rogue local officials are allowed to classify marriage however they see fit. Only a federal amendment is adequate to shield America from the undermining of its moral foundation."

Even an ammendment to our Federal Constitution isn't safe from activist judiciaries if they don't agree with it .

Since ALL judges are supposed to be impartial I personally feel that the "activist" types should be removed from the bench for failing to abide by their oath of office . [:@]

How did it come to this? people who are not elected by us, have the ablity to change laws anyway they see fit and at any time with zero accountablity. Its not like we can take them to court or have them removed. The political leaders need to step up because this is getting out of hand. Anyone can read what Jefferson said about Tyrannical leadership. It will be met with blood shed if not corrected by our leaders.

Those people have always had the ability to affect emerging legislation , in the past they stayed impartial and waited until someone else brought it to them for review . That's how it's supposed to work . Lately judges have increasingly lost their impartiality , which is why those who put them where they are should remove them . They aren't supposed to take sides in the first place .
