Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default McNabb and Limbaugh

It looks like rush woke up McNabb since his statements last year.

Since Rush opened his mouth last year the Eagles are 14-2 in the season since then, and McNabb's statistics are off the charts: a 68.9 passing percentage, 3,640 yards, 24 touchdowns, 8 interceptions. His Qb rating is almost 123.0.

We know what's been going on with Rush since then.

Rush was wrong. End of story.

I find Rush's story lines pretty appealing (I used to watch him 8 years ago when I lived in Oklahoma but never see him on TV in my new Texas home), but I suspect he is guilty of trumping things up and slanting them just a wee bit! A little selective presentation of information in one case, a little scanting of historical perspective in another case. What I liked best in Rush's work as I remember it was his video clips of political leaders making statements to the press, in press conferences, or in deliberations in congress.

Rush was wrong on McNabb, as are 99% of sports "experts!"
As for politics, Rush has some very good conservative views. He does come on a little strong and offensive to some people. But thats the "show biz" side!
However, unlike Dum Blather and his cronies, Rush makes no pretension of being "fair and unbiased!"

At the time Limbaugh said that, McNabbs numbers sucked. It was a true statement at the time.

Rush was right on McNabb when this ordeal happened, McNabb needs to thank him for getting him pointed in the right direction.

Strut, Do you really think Mcnabb cared what Rush said? What I said was totally tongue in cheek.

Bwahahawaha! Thats an insult to all football fans everywhere.

Rush is better at eating and taking painkillers than journalism. Bout time he retires and give us all a break.

It sure is easy to try to kick someone when one thinks he or she is down. These posts attacking Rush after he acknowledged his addiction are, in my opinion, just crass "old hat." Rush acknowledged his problems & sought treatment, which is a good thing. It goes to show that no one can be too carefull when dealing with potentially addicting medications. A smidgen of research into the condition that caused him to be prescribed these painkillers in the first place would educate one to the amount of pain he suffered. I, for one, honor the courage he's shown in fighting his addiction.

When one gets into recovery from an addiction, into the 12 steps, that person changes. It is all too common for marriages to end while one or both spouses are in recovery; it is sometimes an unfortunate by-product. To make fun of such a thing does not speak highly of the character for the one who is making the fun.

It seems that Rush's show is going as strongly as ever. Many of us agree with the majority of his opinions and insights on the news of the day. He's never claimed to be an unbiased news provider; Rush has always been up front with the fact that his is an opinion show. His continued success testifies to the fact that he is still saying what many of us already think.

Whitehorse, RuSh admitted his addiction Law enforcement sources said last week that Limbaugh's name had come up during an investigation into a black market drug ring in Palm Beach County, Florida. The sources said that authorities were looking into the illegal sale of the prescription drugs OxyContin and hydrocodone after he found that out.

I have had four major back surgeries so I know the pain he has been in, never got my scrips filled in a parking lot however.

Wonder if Rush feels the same about this statement?

McNabb has alway's had the ability only time will tell how good he is.

No I doubt if he cared at all, but one thing for sure, alot of people now know the name McNabb and knows that he is a football player that otherwise would'nt. And his numbers have improved greatly since Rush's comments, would'nt you agree? Kind of like a wake-up call to McNabb the way I see it. And once again he probably owes Rush a thank you for what he has done to help his carreer.
