His voting record makes John F. Kerry the most anti-gun Presidential nominee in United States history. Since his election to the U.S. Senate in 1984, John F. Kerry has cast 59 votes (NRA did not score 4 of them) on issues involving firearms rights and hunting. These votes included votes to ban guns, to impose waiting periods on gun buyers, to financially punish gun manufacturers for operating a legal business and to restrict the free speech of Second Amendment advocates.
In addition, Kerry currently is a co-sponsor of S. 1431, which would ban all semi-automatic shotguns, all detachable-magazine semi-automatic rifles and many other guns, calling the whole lot "assault weapons.
....and yet there are many hunters who believe his rhetoric over EVERY ONE of his many votes against hunters and gunowners! Who could possibly support someone who endorses the suing of gun manufacturers when some criminal steals someone's lawfully owned gun and shoots somebody with it? Not to mention the outlaw of certain centerfire rifle ammo and VAGUE language outlawing "assault weapons." Wake up, people!

Kerry is deliberately trying to fool gun owners claiming to be a lifelong hunter, shotgun in hand, supporting the 2nd Amendment, WHILE HIS TRUE RECORD IS CONSISTENTLY AGAINST GUN OWNERS. By deceiving gun owners, he is trying to steal votes he knows he wouldn't get from gun owners, if he were honest about his position, in a close election in order to win. He knows if he is honest on this issue, he might lose enough votes to lose the election, like Al Gore did in 2000,& the democrats losing the House in 94. THAT'S WHY IT'S SO IMPORTANT THAT WE GET THE TRUTH OUT BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!

I was done stacking and still in 1971. Not to mention the commission to retreive POW/MIAs from Vietnam and his voting record in the senate.
I hear ya buddy. It kills me to even think 1/2 this country thinks this guy should be president. He is a spineless puppet of the left and will never be a leader for the winning side. Funny you said that about passing time while you worked. I spend 9 hours yesterday painting my house doing the exact same thing and never got to the stuff he did in the 80's, 90's or the now.
What really blows my mind is that some gun owners support him. Last Friday in Ohio, a man in his 70's gave Kerry a browning auto 12 gauge as a gift on stage and Kerry held it up with a big smile on his face. Kerry wants to ban all auto load weapons; he has put that bill on the floor more than once. Shotguns, hand guns, rifles and not grandfather anything, outright ban them. Try hunting dove with a pump. You can do it, but it stinks. He is so far removed from the every day American it"™s scary. I would suspect the ones that support him on this site must be bow hunters. Noble sport but they don"™t have the same skin in the race we do.
