He's booking a flight to Mexico and will enter along with the newly estimated 3 million plus illegals crossing each year (border patrol estimates reported recently by "Time" magazine).
Homeland security!! What an oxymoronic waste of time and $$ when our borders are hemorrhaging at break-neck speed.
Gee Frost..think of all those new potential constituents Kerry and Bush will have. I want to see either one stop the flow across the border
Very true.
Neither candidate has the guts to take the drastic measures needed at our borders. They are both more concerned with getting votes than the security of America.
Homeland Security is nothing more than a band-aid / smoke and mirrors fix designed to pasify the ignorrant masses.
With open borders, terroists don't even need a FAKE passport.
And,,, the masses continue to let both candidates of the hook on this issue.
Its much easier for Joe Sixpack to just continue to --- go to work --- eat cheese burgers ---- play the lotto--- watch TV --- and while sitting in a recliner sighhhh "Ehh, whatareyougonnado?"

Our borders are NOT hemorhaging, hemorhage means to bleed out, we are taking in, or being infused with, new blood. Just think, at that rate, Mexico will be out of people in a mere 34.98 years and you won't have to worry about it anymore, Mexico will have bled to death.
Homeland Security is not an oxymoron,it is a necessity brought about by political corectness which does not allow us to utilize our law enforcement community to its fullest potential. Liberal thinking is an oxymoron, it implies that liberals are capable of logical thought which the remainder of the population knows is a false assumption
I think our homeland security is better now then it was in 2001 for sure. It is however not perfect and the Mexican border and Canadian borders are pretty glaring examples . I don't know how any one can say its positive. The affect these illegals have on our society is simply frightening and that is not even taking into consideration any terrorists that may cross into the US along with these "workers". Yes some of these people work at jobs no one else wants to do but what about the other percent that are a simple weight around our neck. Look at the Drain on our Medical,Educational and Legal systems. Either these people get legal permission to enter our country if you have a necessary skill or stay out. I have no use for Vicente Fox and he will go down as another corrupt leader in a long line of corrupt Mexican leaders. He should not dictate immigration policy to Bush as he has done in the past. Pure BS

As usual, dodge the issue and degenerate into a argument of semantics and name calling.
According to Coastie's logic, anyone who questions Bush' border debacle is a Liberal - go figure? I guess true conservatives should like the potential for terrorist influx and just shut up right? No room for dissension on the ultra rightwing.
Having open borders and saying "Homeland Security" is working is like saying,,,
"Well son,,,,, you build a new house by putting the roof on first - that way you can work in the dry the whole time."
Immigration implies a legal movement of people from one country to another. There is little taking place along our borders, or should I say, through our borders which I consider legal. While I do not approve of the way these people are coming in I do understand their reasons for wanting to be here and I also understand the economic impact that they have here both the negative effects and the positive, and there are positive parts of it. The probability of terrorists getting through along with the illegal laborers is extreme, but to seal our borders airtight is a physical impossibility so what do you do about it? I have stated a number of times some of the thins I would like to see done such as stationing National Guard units along the borders and expanding the presence of active duty military units in the same area, but have not seen any comments from anybody here as to what they would suggest. We all know there is a problem, how about some positive ideas instead of saying "somebody has to do something" or "The government is not doing enough" or' more likely, "The government is screwing this up"!
So how about some positive input in this regard? What, specifically, would you suggest as a solution? In all of the posts I have read from "FROST" there is nothing but complaints and never a suggestion as to how things might be accomplished more quickly, more securely or less expensively. Again, we all know what the problems are, how do we fix them?

That's easy, just call someone names and defame them when they disagree with any of Bush's liberal policies and they will instantly be discredited and the issue will fade away.
Maybe even the terrorists will forget our borders are open if they are called enough names?

Way to totally dodge the question Frost (clap, clap, clap). Now, how about a REAL answer to Coastie's question?
