It's a bunch of hooey! He has not
predicted one thing. All of his quatrains have been applied to events
after they happened. Quatrains loosely fit actual events, but they are always off by some detail. It's the hit and miss thing that so called psycics also use.
And about Hitler, or Hister in the Quatrain: Hister is the name of a geographic object. Sorry I'm without the exact detail myself, but I believe it is a river.
Finally, many of his quatrains can be applied to events that were occuring in Nostrodamus' life. Many scholars believe he was making vailed commentary on political issues of his day. When applied to the right historical events -- events that had already happened in his lifetime -- there isn't even the hit and miss aspect of his quatrains.
Quote:
In the year 1999 and seven months
The Great King of Terror will come from the sky,
He will bring back to life the great king of the Mongols.
Before and after the God of war reigns happily.
Century 10, Q 72

The date is not correct for 9/11
Great king of terror is singular, and as you know, there were 4 hijacked planes.
By no stretch can Osamma be classified as king of the Mongols.
The God of war, figuratively speaking, has reigned happily since the dawn of man.
Quote:
At forty-five degrees, the sky will burn,
Fire approaches the great new city,
Immediately a huge, scattered flame leaps up
When they want to have verification from the Norman

This quatrain puts a huge emphasis on fire. 9/11 was about much more than fire. More about impact, more smoke than fire, and collapse. There are hits on the 45 degrees and "new" city. But 45 degrees can be applied to lots of things, not just latitude measurement. And throughout history, there are a number of fires that broke out in what could be considered new cities. Finally, the Norman is a reference to the French. Yeah, we don't like 'em, but they did not plan or carry out 9/11.
For great skepticism of Nostradamus, see Penn and Teller. These guys are great.
