Jay Leno made some jokes at the expense of CBS, Dan Rather, and their memo fiasco:
"CBS stands for 'can't believe story.' "
"CBS is coming out with a new program -- Dan Rather's 'Believe it or not!' "
CBS has become a laughing stock over this matter. You would think they would give it up, swallow their pride, and offer up some scape goat. Maybe this is already happening. I have seen some indication that Dan Rather has his doubts. Maybe this is a precursor for crafting a story about how they were fooled by someone with an ax to grind.
