Slamming the Heinz name isn't right...

I don't think it's right for people on this board to slam the Heinz name simply because Theresa Kerry was married to a Heinz.

If any of you would bother to check, Senator John Heinz was a good man who did some good things for the state of Pennsylvania during the time he was in office. It was a sad day when he was killed in a plane crash back in 1991.


I think he would have been an excellent candidate for the Presidency...and he was a Republican too!

It just goes to show you how far some people will go during an election year. Makes me sick.[:'(]

My post wasn't specifically aimed at you...sorry if you thought it was. I just get tired of seeing the Heinz name dragged through the mud.

I think the reason that Theresa Kerry is still using the Heinz name is to try to get some respect by association. Because she won't get it by just being "Theresa Kerry".

Did you know that while in office, Senator John Heinz, A Republican, wrote a burning diatribe against some of the causes backed by young House member John Kerry?

So bash the Kerrys all you want...but leave Heinz out of it, OK?

Considering that Mrs. Heinz-Kerry has absolutely nothing to do with the day to day operations of HJ Heinz , Inc. I don't bash the company . Theresa however supports causes that I frown on . I'll bash her when I feel the need .
