Has anyone noticed the TV networks coverage of the death of the Klintoon Gun Ban, yesterday! In every news piece that I saw, they all made their spill about how bad it will be with these "assault weapons" back on the street, then everyone of them showed footage of fully automatic weapons being shot! As we all here know, these fully automatic weapons are nothing like the guns that were banned, but are not banned anymore!
Just as CBS and most all the other news media have blasted GW Bush, while touting the greatness of Heinz-kerry, they are not being anything like being "fair and unbiased!"
This is really sad, because too many people have the mistaken notion that, "if it's on TV, or in the printed media, it has to be the truth!"

It is sad i agree- they should know better - they should think just the reverse- doubt everything you see on the tv& the news & aways read between the lines& what is there motivation in reporting anything etc.

I had to "educate" my wife last night about the difference between semiauto and full auto , and why semi isn't an assault weapon .
I guess my wife's been hanging around me too long--she's been blowing up every time some moron with a microphone starts going on about "weapons capable of firing 700 rounds a minute--designed specifically for killing as many people as possible in a short period of time".
The way she rants, I'm the one getting the education.

You need to watch Fox news. They put it in perspective. They mentioned how the propaganda is just that, propaganda. They explained just what you did bout the fully auto weapons and how the posters/adds are purposely miss leading.

The news report I saw started by saying, "The Assault Weapons Ban" was meant to prevent this" and then they showed the picture of the two lunitics robbing the bank out in California. Typcial sheite though.
I hear this bull here at work too. When I mentioned that I was going huntng this afternoon someone said something about using an "assault weapon." It was hard to restrain myself. Buncha libs working here . . .

I as well. I have been trying to educate anyone I hear griping about it. Needless to say, I have pissed some off. They didnt want to hear the truth, and stumbled on there own words. Simply put, they wanted to be pissed off about this issue instead of wanting to understand the truth.
